Swimming Women is joining forces with Margaret River Surf Lifesaving Club to bring you the Margaret River Ocean Swim.
This event will be held on Saturday January 4. More details and entry information will be posted here over the coming months but mark the date in your diary now!

As the weather warms, there are lots of fabulous open water swims open for entry. Some are iconic, some less well known, and they all offer a different challenge and a sense of achievement. Those on the door step of Margaret River or very well worth travelling for include:

Swimming Women & Swim[Men] are in training for this event now. Entries are closed but often a team needs a swimmer at the last minute. The event website team finder page is the place to offer your services.
Margaret River Ocean Swim. January 4 2014
Details will be posted on this site for this fabulous event, back on the swimming calendar after a break for bringing up small children!
Busselton Jetty Swim. February 9 2014
Entries aren’t yet open for this fabulous 3.8k swim around the Jetty open to solo’s, pairs and teams. Swimming Women aim to go up ‘en masse’ to offer support and encouragement for each other.
Rottnest Channel Swim. February 22 2014
Entries open for this legendary 19.8km event early in November and sell out within the week resulting in a ballot entry system. This means you need to think about entering before the entries open to gather your team, boat and skipper.
Dunsborough X adventure. 22 -23 March 2014
After a fantastic day out in 2013 this event is set to become as popular as the Augusta Adventure Fest. Its great fun to join an event with land lovers and perhaps even train for a little land based activities as well as the swim. More information here.
