Imagine swimming, stretching, and strengthening in the sun, and then add in shopping, sipping, surfing, sleeping and sitting on a sun lounger in the shade! That’s the 2019 Swimming Women Bali swim camps.

Our Bali swim camps are extremely popular so please book early to secure your place!

Who is it suitable for?

Swimming Women swim camps to Bali are for women who like to swim regardless of speed and ability. They are an opportunity for women to come together from different parts of the globe and swim, incorporating swim technique, endurance, wellness and laughter in the warm tropical climes of this island paradise.

We base ourselves in Canggu, north of bustling Seminyak, where we enjoy the local 50m swimming pool, food and coffee from the many fabulous local cafes and eateries and the warm welcome we receive from the staff at the Haven Suites our home for the camp. Situated right on the beach the hotel is a fabulous spot for a morning walk, or a sunset drink at the end of the day as well as a convenient location for all our activities and any extra ones you may wish to indulge in from shopping to surfing, massages and beauty treatments, visiting temples or simply gazing out over the ocean reading a good book.

What’s not included?

Flights and travel insurance are not included: You may want to arrive and depart on different days so this enables you to find a flight that suits you. Taking out personal travel insurance is strongly advised and is your responsibility.

All other meals (except the welcome lunch and farewell dinner), alcohol and any extra activities you may choose are not included. We have taken this option as there are so many great restaurants around Canggu and surrounding areas that you can explore them at your own pace and budget. There’s also surf lessons, massages, and shopping that you may want to indulge in.

Land Based

To enhance your swimming experience and improve your overall wellness the camp includes a variety of land based activities, including yoga, swim specific stretching and functional movements, mind set training and exercise to make you feel fabulous and ready for the day ahead. We want you to leave the camp feeling refreshed and energised as well as being a stronger swimmer.

Itinerary

A final detailed itinerary will be provided once all final bookings are confirmed but as a guide we will start each day with time for you to wake and have breakfast, as well as go for an early morning run/walk/surf if you desire. There will also be down time each day.

Each pool session will have a specific focus. With a 50m pool there is so much more time and space to develop your stroke and fitness.

Some days we will be in the pool twice, others we will add a fun session at the hotel pool. The final day finishes with a farewell dinner, allowing you to sleep in the following morning and depart to the airport as required.

Day 1 – Sunday
Arrive at hotel, check in from 2pm, relax. 
Video analysis review for those there early.
5pm – welcome drink / meet and greet; goal setting session

Day 2 – Monday
Morning:
Dry land training – flexibility and strength assessments.
Swim session 50m pool – Excellence through drills & -stroke rate analysis
Lunch: Welcome lunch at Nude Restaurant in Canggu (cost included).
Afternoon: Masterclass – hotel pool using a beeper with sculling, connecting power.
PM: Explore Canggu at your leisure.

Day 3 – Tuesday
Pre breakfast beach fitness or yoga session TBC.
Morning: 2hr Swim Session at 50m pool. Post swim coffee.
Lunch: your choice.
Afternoon: Masterclass – hotel pool using a beeper with sculling, connecting power.
PM: Explore Canggu at your leisure.

Day 4 – Wednesday
Morning:
Dry land Yoga – Rejuvenation relaxation.
Swim Session at 50m pool. How far can you go – challenge yourself to a red mist dream
Afternoon and evening: Yours to do with as you wish: swim, relax, horse riding, surf lessons, shopping.

Day 5 – Thursday
Morning:
Dryland – core strength
Swim Session at 50m pool. Post swim coffee.
Afternoon: Skills and games hotel pool.
Evening: Farewell Dinner.

Day 6 – Friday
Travel home at your leisure. Check out from hotel is midday.
