EVENTS
Swimming Women run two signature events each year; the annual Margaret River Ocean Swim and the Swim Goorbilyup Experience in Augusta.
We also support a number of different races and provide sponsorship and training plans for these.

Swim Goorbilyup. It's not a race
Unlike traditional swim events, Swim Goorbilyup is all about the experience. Take your time, observe nature, and relish the changing colours of the river water as you swim in the tide.
Awesome merch, and hot drinks after the event make this a favourite on the south west swim calendar.

Busselton Jetty Swim
One of Western Australia’s most loved annual open water swimming events, featuring a 3.6km swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty. Busselton Jetty Swim is everybody’s swim. Held over two days in the turquoise waters of Geographe Bay, it includes a range of distances to suit all ages and swimming abilities.
Swimming Women are a sponsor of the event and provide training programs and tips for all swimmers to take part.

Rottnest Channel Swim
The South32 Rottnest Channel Swim is a 19.7km open water swim from Cottesloe Beach (Mudurup) to Rottnest Island (Wadjemup). Chief mermaid Charlotte O'Beirne has completed 2 solo swims in under 5hr.30 and completed over 10 team races.
Held every February, the race is must do for any aspiring long distance ocean swimmer. Charlotte is available for coaching and personal training for this iconic event.

Port to Pub
Port to Pub swimmers cross a 19.7km stretch of open ocean that includes Gage Roads shipping channel. Entrants can choose to do the event as an individual, duo, or in teams of 4 or 6.
A 25km Ultramarathon is also offered to individual swimmers. This route includes a 5km loop north to Cottesloe and back before joining the direct route to Wadjemup.
